Where to Recycle Christmas Trees in Smyrna TN

Saturday, December 29th, 2007

According to the Daily News Journal, Smyrna residents will be able to recycle Christmas trees at Lee Victory Park until January 14. Lee Victory Park is located on Sam Ridley Parkway in Smyrna, near the airport and golf course. Residents are asked to remove all decorations before recycling their trees.

While you’re cleaning out the house, remember that there are Goodwill pick-ups at the county waste facilities off Weakley Lane and Almaville Road. This is a great time of year to get your tax deduction and do a good deed at the same time!

Speaking of tax deductions, home mortgage interest is a great tax deduction offered by Uncle Sam every year. You can search for a new home from my website at http://www.terryrosshomes.com.

Super Target in Smyrna TN slated for Spring 2008

Saturday, December 1st, 2007

Although it had been reported earlier this year that the Super Target would be open by Christmas, it’s clear from the construction site and from a recent report in Smyrna AM that the store won’t open until March 2008. The PetSmart is also slated to open in the Spring, while Kohl’s has been open for several weeks now.

Construction and development continues along Sam Ridley Parkway in Smyrna. Verizon’s new office has opened. Several new shopping centers are open and renting space. Traffic is picking up a great bit on Sam Ridley, evidence of the boom in residential development here in Smyrna.
