About Terry

I was born and raised in Rutherford County, Tennessee, and chose to move back to Middle Tennessee after spending my teen years in North Carolina.  My father and grandfather built many homes in Smyrna, Tennessee, during the 1950s and 1960s.  As a boy I was constantly on a job site with my father. Later I worked for my father and uncle in commercial construction when I returned to Tennessee in the early 1980s.  When they were not building homes or working commercial jobs, my family farmed several tracts around Smyrna.

After working in construction with my family, I spent several years working in Nashville. I bought and sold my first house long before I became a real estate agent, so I know just how much of a learning curve there can be. I also understand the frustration you encounter when looking for a home you both like and can afford, as well as how important it is to communicate to your client as a seller’s agent.

The internet has made home buying and selling a whole new world. If you have suggestions on tools that would be useful on this website, please let me know what can be improved.

My involvement with real estate is both as an agent and investor. If you’re interested in real estate investment ideas, feel free to give me a call.

My extended family in Middle Tennessee is very important to me.  My cousins and kin span from Shelbyville to Christiana to Murfreesboro and Smyrna. I’ve been privileged to build my business in the Smyrna area, and my wife’s legal practice makes Smyrna its home as well. I hope to be able to help you build the kind of ties to this area that I treasure.
